Proposal Information

Description:

Include daily tasks, type of work to be performed, and typical hours and days of operation of the office. Limited to 4000 characters.

Assist the Office of Outdoor Recreation team in outreach efforts for statewide outdoor recreation events and programs. Specific responsibilities include:
a. Compile an outreach list of different groups and contacts for each region, that regional coordinators can refer to when conducting outreach for their events.
b. Assist local coordinators with outreach on Office of Outdoor Recreation events, including identifying opportunities for volunteer recruitment for I Love My Park Day and increasing outreach to targeted audiences for Get Outdoors & Get Together Day.
c. Help brainstorm and compile event planning and outreach resources and materials for regional coordinators.
d. Assist the Office of Outdoor Recreation team with ad hoc projects (i.e., research, special events, etc.).
General office hours are M-F, 8:00am-4:00pm. Telecommuting may be available. Specific internship hours/days are flexible.
