Proposal Information

Description:

Internship focused on scale development and literature review. 20 hrs/week, on site (no remote work). Pay is $21.92/hr.

Skills needed: Expertise and experience with advanced psychometric analysis and scale development. Knowledge and experience conducting systematic reviews and synthesizing and interpreting scientific literature. Experience performing statistical analyses using R and/or SAS.

Job duties: 1) Review existing literature on the psychometrics of an established psychological scale. Analyze previously collected data using R and/or SAS to compare psychometric properties to existing literature and create a valid short version of the scale for future use. Write a report summarizing findings and documenting validity of shortened scale. 2) Perform systematic literature reviews on other topics related to suicide prevention and create a table and summary of existing literature and gaps in knowledge for each topic.
