Description:
The intern will be part of a professional research team and will work under the guidance of senior research staff as they assist in evaluating the implementation of agency policies and practices. The graduate student will have the opportunity to participate in inter-agency and inter-disciplinary planning meetings and help integrate implementation best practices and evaluation study findings into the agency's work.
Anticipated tasks include design and implementation of comprehensive literature searches pertaining to specific interventions and best practices, including summarizing and synthesizing peer reviewed articles and research reports; collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to better inform implementation practices; presenting findings to program and administrative teams; and disseminating knowledge in accessible language via oral presentations and infographics. Senior staff will mentor the intern to further develop their existing skillset and identify opportunities for growth.
