Proposal Information

Description:

Interns will be responsible for research and analysis of corrections related legal topics. Additionally preparing materials for various administrative functions of the agency and providing overall support to the DOCCS staff attorneys. Subject matters include business law, civil and constitutional rights, criminal law, civil litigations, government policy, health, labor and employment, and social justice.

Preferred level of education: - Received 60 credit hours as a candidate for a Juris Doctorate or Master of Laws from an accredited law school
Minimum Level of education: - Received 30 credit hours as a candidate for a Juris Doctorate or Master of Laws from an accredited law school

Degree Concentration: - General law.

 

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft office

Legal research utilizing WestLaw

Strong legal writing skills
