Description:

Troop F Interns will get involved in all aspects of State Police operations. Interns will be assigned to the Troop recruiter who will schedule them to ride on patrol with Troopers, shadow investigators conducting criminal investigations, watch non-sworn employees conduct many clerical and administrative aspects, and shadow specialty law enforcement areas. The specialty law enforcement areas can include crime scene investigators, computer crime investigators, traffic section, accident reconstruction investigators, commercial vehicle enforcement, public information, recruiting, dispatching, major crime investigations, etc. The extent and amount of time in each area depends upon operational concerns for the State Police. Hours can be flexible depending upon the intern's schedule, the intern's college requirements, and State Police availability in specific area. We operate 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week. Many specialty areas operate Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
