Proposal Information

Description:

We are looking to hire two interns to work with an Offender Rehabilitation Coordinator (ORC) and an ASAT Program Aide (PA) team. The intern should have interest in a counseling field, Criminology and/or Substance Abuse. Students will work with a counseling team learning timely documentation including: intake process, evals, treatment plans, continuing recovery plans and progress notes. They will also shadow a Therapeutic Community and how it operates including: Hierarchy, House Standards, Morning Meetings, Education and Counseling Groups and Small groups. They will learn the Disease of Addiction Concept and the importance of Re-Entry. We can dedicate 16-20 hours a week. We are looking for a motivated team player who is looking for a career that makes a difference.
