Environmental Engineering Technician 1 (Data Analysis)
Data Analysis Intern will work with DOW staff to analyze and update environmental data to improve completeness and accuracy for the SPDES permitting program and to prepare for migration to a new system. Daily tasks will include independent data analysis, developing procedures to maintain complete and accurate data, implementing corrective actions, data entry, occasional meetings and presenting work to DOW staff. Opportunities to go on facility site visits or other field work may occur. The ideal candidate would have coursework in a combination of environmental science, and experience with collecting and analyzing environmental data, organizational skills, writing and presenting.
Minimum Qualifications:
18 college semester credit hours in any combination of the following: engineering, geology, environmental science, natural or physical science, drafting, mathematics, or surveying.
