Description:
Troop F Interns will get involved in all aspects of State Police operations. Interns will be assigned to the Troop recruiter who will schedule them to ride in patrol vehicles with Troopers, shadow investigators conducting criminal investigations, watch civilian employees conduct clerical and administrative tasks, and shadow specialty law enforcement areas. The specialty law enforcement areas can include crime scene investigators, computer crime investigators, traffic section, accident reconstruction, commercial vehicle enforcement, public information, recruiting, dispatching and major crime investigations. The amount of time in each area depends on operational concerns for the State Police. Hours are flexible depending on the interns schedule. Many specialty areas operate Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.
