Description:

Water Quality Intern
Summer Internship - approximately 15-20 hours/week

Description:
The Main Office of New York State Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation is seeking a water quality intern to assist within their Division of Environmental Stewardship and Planning in the Water Quality Unit. The intern will primarily be responsible for water quality file and data organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Aquatic Ecosystem Biologist the intern will provide assistance with:
* Scanning historical water quality documents
* Electronic filing organization
* Entering historical water quality data into databases

Skills:
* Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Access)
* One to two years of college experience in biology, ecology, natural resources, data management, or related field
* Strong Analytical Skills
