Description:
* Assist in the review and analysis of evidence and related law to determine whether there is a preponderance of relevant evidence to support a substantiated finding of abuse or neglect.
* Assist in the review and revision of internal documents involving the Justice Center statute.
* Format, draft and proofread legal documents.
* Conduct legal research and draft memos on policy issues impacting Case Closure operations as well as the agency overall.
* Must be able to set own priorities and manage all deadlines in accordance with required timeframes.
* Participate in various meetings and work groups representing Case Closure position and interests.
* Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times (will receive confidentiality training as part of internship).
* Perform other duties as assigned.
