Proposal Information

Description:

The Office of Justice Research and Performance (OJRP) conducts research and analysis to support criminal justice policy and inform executive decision-making on issues such as crime, court case processing, gun violence reduction, youth justice, community corrections, and criminal justice reforms. The intern will assist the Statistical Services team, by extracting and manipulating statistical data for publication to the agency's public website, Open Data, and to respond to other ad-hoc statistical requests. The intern will also assist in quality assurance reviews of data and reports and assist with designing data visualizations using software such as Excel and/or Tableau.

 

Skills:

Basic Excel and MS office Skills

Excellent attention to detail

Strong organization skills

Experience with Tableau

Experience with statistical software
