Description:
The Trace Evidence Section examines evidence for fire debris analysis. Evidence such as liquids or debris like flooring, furniture, paper products and others obtained from a fire scene, are submitted to our laboratory. Examiners perform extraction techniques that allows them to utilize a gas chromatograph coupled with a mass spectrometer for the analysis and interpretation of the evidence.
