Description:

The Hudson Valley Capital District operates out of three offices including the Palisades Regional Office in Bear Mountain, NY, Saratoga Capital Regional Office in Saratoga Spa, NY or the Taconic Regional Office in Staatsburg, NY. The reporting location will be in the Taconic Regional Office. Intern will work with the Capital Design and Construction Group and Park staff including architects, engineers, and landscape architects. Intern must have valid driver's license to visit Park and Historic Sites located in the Hudson Valley Capital District. Intern is expected to obtain, evaluate and record field information for project(s). Intern should be able to work with team to develop successful project(s). The individual will prepare plans, details, presentation drawings, and written documents for final report or project. The intern will need to assist staff with information gathering and surveys. Intern is expected to work with limited direction and supervision using computer software commonly used in design and construction.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm (flexible hours during semester if taking classes locally)
Dates of Internship: April 1, 2023 - November 30, 2023 (flexible end date if returning to college)
