The Business Services Center (BSC) is a program in the New York State Office of General Services. We provide shared services that standardize Human Resources and Finance transactions for New York State. Our efforts increase efficiencies, lower costs, and support agencies as they focus on core mission activities. Services are delivered by a highly motivated workforce committed to providing exceptional customer service.

Candidates for the Customer Support position, working with the Right Now team, will:
-Create flyers, documents, and training to help promote and educate BSC Customers (Employees, Agencies, Vendors) about the portal and other self-service resources
-Help create internal references for staff to use when working transactions, tickets or forms.
-Update Help Center, Oracle RightNow, and SharePoint.

Ideal candidates will have:
-Ability to design writing guides and information flyers
-Copy editing skills for help center questions and answers and website content
-Ability to collect, tabulate, and analyze data for reports and at the request of the service lines
-Experience writing PHP, SQL java, json coding
-Experience using Microsoft applications such as Power Automate, SharePoint, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

Hours are Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm
