Proposal Information
Description:
* Participate in design of new and rehabilitation projects of various systems for bathhouses,
maintenance and concession buildings, playgrounds, athletic fields, trails and coastal and
green infrastructure.
* Attend field inspections and learn to survey existing facilities.
* Assist current construction projects by visiting construction sites and attending meetings.
* Draft NYS Parks standard details and write technical specifications to assist with the
preparation of projects going out to bid.
* Prepare presentations and assist with project organization and documentation.
Dates of Internship: April 1, 2023 thru Nov.30, 2023 (flexible start and end date based on student schedule)
