Description:
This internship will give insight into NYSIF's ESG Investment activities, which is implementing ESG strategies across the entire $20bn portfolio.
- Conduct market, sector, or fund research as required
- Analyze climate, financial, and other metrics for companies or funds to provide recommendations to the ESG investing team
- Assist with the execution of ESG events and communication strategies
- Develop written communication skills geared toward investor audience through drafting memos and presentations

* Typical hours will be 9am to 5pm and typical days will be Monday through Friday

Skills:
Strong analytical skills, together with strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Strong Word, Powerpoint and Excel skills
Good understanding of any of the following: Finance, Economic, Sustainability, ESG
Demonstrated interest in ESG and sustainable investing
