Job Duties:
The New York State Office of Mental Health's (OMH) Office of Population Health and Evaluation collects and integrates big data, using analytics to define patient cohorts, stratify members by their risk categories, deliver targeted care to those members, and report on individual and group outcomes to ensure quality and accountability. The Research Assistants will leverage Medicaid claims and other extensive datasets and various applications, to assist
* data processing and management
* quantitative data analyses and reporting
* development of statistical and/or predictive models
Skills:
Experience with management of data sets
Using SQL for data processing &reporting
Data visualization and analytics
running statistical or machine learning
using SAS, Python, R
