Proposal Information
Description:
The positions would be to learn/support guidance staff in daily functions. This includes preparing folders for the parole board, preparing material for group sessions (ASAT, ART, and RRU). Presenting information to group participants in ASAT and RRU. It is hoped that this will provide interns with the opportunity to become aware of the role that the department plays in public safety and the rehabilitation of individuals, for their successful reentry to society. Additional skill sets recommended for this internship: therapeutic approach to problem solvong, and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
