Proposal Information
Description:
The Student assistant will continue the mission-critical work of evaluating OCFS' current screening tools implemented as a result of the federal Preventing Sex Trafficking and Strengthening Families Act in partnership with SPPD. This work is necessary to ensure the appropriate identification and provision of services to child sex trafficking victims in child welfare and juvenile justice.
The student assistant will complete this project as well as assist in the writing of the corresponding policy. In addition, they will work to assist in the review of trainings for RHY, the creation of an RHY training resource guide and be an active member of the SOGIE committee representing YDAPS.
