Proposal Information
Description:
The Title IV-E/Local District Unit oversees the allowability of eligible services for youth in Foster Care to assist in the continuation of Title IV-E funding in local districts. In addition, the unit is responsible for fiscal and system tasks related to local district claiming and reporting. The interns will assist in duties of the unit which include preparation of documentation, organization of files related to BFO projects and with assistance from supervisory staff, provide answers to questions from local district staff related to claiming. Other duties will include:
* Assist staff accountants with daily tasks and related activities
* Research related to allowable claims for Title IV-E
* Perform data analysis and review documents to evaluate the allowability of claims for Title IV-E reimbursement
* Assist with the maximization of state and federal reimbursement to local districts
* Communicate effectively, both verbal and written
* Assist with special projects as needed.
