Description:
Seeking an intern with prior experience engaging with immigrant and disability communities; interest in government with a focus on its nexus with community-based organizations; disability rights; interest in equitable access to vital disability and mental health services.
The ONA Ramirez June Initiative intern(s) will: Assist the project manager for the Ramirez June Initiative; Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of Ramirez June Initiative data; Support Initiative outreach presentations and data collection. Assist in the distribution of Initiative informational material and maintain an inventory of distributed material. Develop briefs on initiative findings as well as pressing immigration and disability-related topics.
Other tasks assigned may include data entry, social media content creation, administrative assistance such as editing documents, attending initiative partner meetings and taking notes. Office hours are Monday - Friday, from 10am - 5pm, internship has the potential to be a hybrid of in-person and telecommuting (to be discussed at interview).
Applicants will be asked to submit a writing sample prior to interview.
