Description:

Under close supervision of higher-level professional staff, performs a variety of duties in
support of agency programs. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
* Gathers, reviews, and evaluates applications for the New York State Grown and Certified (NYS G&C) program.
* Drafts communications to current and potential NYS G&C participants for review by professionals.
* Maintains electronic and paper files associated with NYS G&C applications.
* Assist program participants in obtaining required certifications/licenses required for NYS G&C participation.
* Conducts research to aid in the development and advancement of NYS G&C.
* Assists in the preparation, review, evaluation, and analysis of a variety of reports and other documents specific to NYS G&C.
* May perform clerical duties that are incidental and directly related to the professional-level program administrative responsibilities of the organization.
