Description:
As part of the Technical Services unit in the Office of the Chief Medical Information Officer, interns will participate in the design and writing of data management solutions, creating organized reports, and analyzing relational database structures. Candidates are expected to work in a team environment, present findings to managers in group meetings, and provide end-user support as necessary.
The internship is ideal for someone who'd like to develop real-world experience by working on real projects. You'll have the opportunity to gain practical experience with a variety of tools. The ideal candidate is completing a graduate or undergraduate program in computer science or related technical degree and is eager to get a head-start by participating in the development of real-life technical solutions. This opportunity is intended for an individual who is particularly interested in developing a rather broad range of skills and experience.
Knowledge you'll need for this internship: Object-Oriented Programming Languages, Relational Databases, Logical Flow Models, Excellent Written and Oral Communication and Expertise in Excel.
