Description:
-Manage (under supervision of SFG Attorneys) SFG's efforts to be discharged and removed from notice in pending claims for WCL ยง 15(8) reimbursement by:
o Locating candidate cases from SFG's database and other sources;
o Reviewing cases in electronic case folder of Board's Claims Information System (CIS) and SFG's database
o Generating list of cases to target for discharge and removal from notice;
o Developing plan to achieve SFG's discharge and removal in targeted cases;
o Contacting insurance adjustors and attorney regarding targeted cases;
o Drafting and filing Requests for Further Assistance with the Board;
o Prepping cases for hearings; and
o Tracking efforts and results in SFG's database.
- Review Workers' Compensation cases and decisions for SFG Attorneys.
- Assist SFG Attorneys with drafting Memos of Law and Board Appeals.
- Other tasks as assigned
Days in the office are flexible from Monday to Friday
