Description:
Basic Function:
The intern will assist the EAR Division in analyzing the economy of nation, New York State (NYS), Regional Economic Development Councils (REDC) Regions, and NYS counties. In addition, the intern will assist with EAR's Benefit Cost Analysis processes.

Work Performed:
* Assisting with the scoring and EAR's Benefit Cost Analysis (BCA) review of Consolidated Funding Applications (CFA).
* Pulling economic data from software programs such as EMSI, Pitchbook, WiserTrade, and Hoover's.
* Pulling economic data from BEA, Census, BLS, IMF, and Federal Reserve.
* Assisting with research requests from other ESD divisions such as Regional offices and Strategic Business.
* Updating reports and PowerPoints.
