Description:
Architectural intern working for various OGS Business Units will be involved in assisting with all facets of design activities. Duties may include conducting site investigations, assistance with the preparation of reports, materials and equipment research, developing and maintaining project schedules, writing project status reports and assistance with developing contract bid documents on a variety of projects. Projects may range from relatively small single trade projects to large scale multi trade projects requiring coordination with engineering disciplines.
Specific Work Duties on Projects: Specific work would likely include: Research, site investigations, CAD Drafting, document reviews for program and NYS Building Code compliance, preparation of spreadsheets and reports, attendance at project related meetings, filing, development of presentations and submittal reviews.
Work Hours 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Monday - Friday
