Proposal Information

Description:

NYSOFA is a small but mighty agency that is dedicated to helping older New Yorkers remain independent in their homes and communities. Communications interns will join our communication team in advancing the agenda of our agency and promoting our priorities. Interns will be responsible for drafting content for our website and social media, assisting with constituent correspondence, and assisting with planning for our annual Older New Yorkers' Day Celebration in November.

Typical Hours: Variable
Days & Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Working remotely for part of the week is allowed. Interns will be required to work in our downtown Albany office at least 1 day per week.

NYSOFA interns help create:
o draft social media posts
o draft infographics. shooting and editing short videos
o draft press releases and articles for the website
o draft correspondence
o event plans
o databases and documents
