Description:
This position will be a part of the project team working on the Unemployment Insurance System Modernization project. The intern will learn how the current unemployment insurance system works - from employer contributions to paying out claimants and how technology can be used to deliver those services to the public . Intern will be exposed to and assist with various activities related to managing a project in the execution phase. Tasks will include working with various stakeholders and vendors that are an integral part of the project. Day-to-day activites may include SharePoint site management; on-boarding of new project team members; facilitating meetings regarding key areas of current project-focus, e.g., risks, action items, and/or interfaces with external entities, including state and federal partners.
