Description:
An intern will assist section staff members with updating and writing portions of a guidance document that lists and describes the types of technology available for Solid Waste Management in New York State. This task will include evaluating previous versions of the document and researching new technologies and advancements to develop an updated technology assessment that compiles all pertinent information in an organized and useful manner for local planning units around the state. The intern will also assist staff members with researching and creating guidelines for managing specific components of the Household Hazardous Waste stream.
