Description:
The interns will work under the direction of the Ecotoxicology Section Head and participate research projects investigating effects from environmental contaminants to wildlife populations. Tasks include field collection of biota (invertebrates, fish, and other aquatic and terrestrial vertebrate species) and environmental media (water, sediment, etc.) samples; laboratory processing and analysis of field samples, recording, maintaining, and analysis of experimental data, etc. Frequent travel to study sites and field work in unfavorable environment are expected during field season.
