Description:
The internship requires 20 hours of work during the semester. The graduates student assistant will assist professional staff in work related to the program evaluation and oversight of managed care organizations providing mental health Medicaid services. Duties require extraction of provider information from OMH sources to produce analytic files related to provider networks; analysis of extracted data; communicating output to stakeholders in written or oral and telephonic conversations; assisting in data processing tasks using SAS, tableau, excel, hyperion;
responding to adhoc questions related to networks; and utilizing data to assist with oversight tasks on network adequacy, expansion analysis, readiness reviews.
