The NYS Athletic Commission seeks a project and data management intern. The NYS Athletic Commission regulates all state-wide combat sporting events ensuring the health and safety of participants and the integrity of these events. The Athletic Commission licenses all participants, including fighters, seconds, promoters and more at professional MMA and boxing events, and assigns the officials at each contest.

Join our wonderful team and have an opportunity to work and gain professional experience with the NYS Athletic Commission operations team. The project and data management intern will assist in helping us continue to improve our data platform and gain exposure to the licensing process. The internship will be approximately 10-19 hours per week. The role will be based in our NYC office location and will be supervised by the Director of Compliance and Data Management.

Duties and responsibilities include:
- Assist with data management projects that develop throughout the spring
- Help make data available to the operations team to help improve efficiencies
- Aid in the planning and implementation of data migration
- Other duties as assigned or requested
