Proposal Information

Description:

The Office of Justice Research and Performance provides research, analysis and performance data to enhance public safety and improve criminal justice in New York State. OJRP prepares agency-wide performance data and criminal justice statistics, and conducts research to support policy and inform executive decision-making. OJRP is seeking an intern for the Fall 2021 semester. The intern will assist with a variety of office tasks and activities, including performing literature reviews; preparing and maintaining monthly statistical performance reports and monitoring tools using Excel; and other activities related to criminal justice research and performance monitoring. The intern should have strong organizational skills, experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, and excellent attention to detail. Interest in the field of criminal justice is preferred.
