Description:
Intern in an active NYS Agency Employee Relations Office, including:
1. Job shadow Employee Relations Practitioners as they:
a. engage in labor management activities
b. prepare for arbitrations and interrogations
2. Review and analyze documents and administrative quandaries such as:
a. Contract grievances and interpretation.
b. Unusual Incidents occurring in the workplace
c. behavioral management and fitness for duty challenges
d. other research as assigned (civil service law, arbitration decisions, etc.)
