Description:
Interns will assist Parole Officers and Bureau staff in performing routine office functions such as typing various reports, Dictaphone use, typewriter use, editing documents; filing; scanning and faxing documents; merging folders; Mailroom tasks consisting of opening, sorting and distributing incoming mail as well as mailing out letters and folders to various locations; Switchboard coverage; processing community preps; processing closed folders; and possibly helping with weekly and monthly reports (Hit Notice Report, GPS report, Inventory report, etc). The Bureau is able to work with Interns for approximately up to 37.5 hours per week. The Bureau is flexible to work with the needs and requirements of the Interns and their program.
