Description:
The New York State Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence is seeking an enthusiastic graphic design intern to help launch a new statewide Instagram page focusing on educating teens on domestic abuse and healthy relationships. The intern must be able to work independently and complete tasks within identified time frames as well as collaborate as a strong team member. The office is looking for someone who can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts, and other designs. This internship will entail between 10 and 15 hours of work per week. The intern should meet the following requirements:
* Currently enrolled in a graphic design, marketing, or closely related program at an accredited institution
* Experience and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
* Working knowledge and understanding of social media
* Strong creative and analytical skills
* Portfolio of graphic design work
