Proposal Information

Description:

BASIC FUNCTION: Assist the Office of Contractor and Supplier Diversity ("OCSD") and Contract Administration ("CA") teams
with data analysis, data clean up and reconciliation, project record creation, outreach, and the preparation of reports in connection with contracts, grants, and Minority-Owned and Women-Owned Business Enterprise ("MWBE") and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business ("SDVOB") participation goals/commitments for Empire State Development ("ESD") projects.

THIS INTERNSHIP IS REMOTE:


WORK PERFORMED:
* Complete data analysis and data clean up; database creation of available firms in New York State, including identification of data, clean-up of data, and data management and update;
* Complete reconciliation of multiple data systems, including PeopleSoft Financial and the New York State Contract System, analyzing and developing data management best practices; ensure that data is accurately reflected in internal tracking systems and databases;
* Interface with not-for-profit Grant recipients to ensure applicant is ready for prequalification in the Grants Gateway Document Vault portal system;
* Project record set up in financial and compliance systems, PeopleSoft Financial and the New York State Contract System;
* Provide support to the Contract Administration teams, including the Assistant Vice President and Directors on marketing and outreach, compliance, and project management oversight as necessary;
* Projects, tasks and other duties as assigned by the Assistant Vice President and Directors;
* Participate in trainings, workgroups, strategic planning sessions and other individual and group projects as necessary;
* Provide the highest standard of customer service to internal and external partners and stakeholders; and,
* Employ a variety of tools to ensure adherence to diversity and best practices.
