Description:
The Division supports the growth and development of Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOBs) by helping them do business with New York State Agencies. An intern working in our Albany office can expect to perform the following tasks:
- Review NYS Contracts and Solicitations to identify potential opportunities for SDVOB participation.
- Maintain a database in Excel of solicited procurements/contracts with Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) participation goals.
- Assist State Agency personnel and contractors to find SDVOBs to work with.
- Facilitate communication between State Agency personnel, contractors, strategic partners, and SDVOBs.
- Create tables and charts and draft reports to document program related information and activities.
