Proposal Information

Description:

The intern will work with the Bureau of Pesticide Management's staff in order to promote the Pesticide Management Program's objectives. Tasks may include working with the Outreach Committee drafting GovDelivery publications, updating program brochures, and compiling outreach materials. The intern will work on coordinating and promoting outreach and educational events for the community and industry alike. Examples of projects may include: NYS Fair and Empire Farm Days, Pollinator Protection Promotions, and Regulatory Outreach. The intern would assist in Exam material prep and with Aquatic Permits as needed. Applicant would assist in the scanning of documents and clerical work pertaining to the Bureau's new electronic data management system.
**Must work with in the policies and regulatory framework put forth by the NYSDEC Bureau of Pest Management.
