Description:
Internship assignments include, but are not limited to: planning and coordinating activities for inmates; developing a comprehensive recreational program; assessing the needs of inmates and fulfilling these interests; providing instruction in officiating various sports leagues; keeping up to date inventories of all recreation equipment; maintenance of all recreation equipment; assist in the overall creation and supervision of recreation leagues for inmates; and acquire a general overview of a Correctional Recreation Department Operations.
