Description:
The Student Assistant assigned to the Policy and Research Bureau at the Worker's Compensation Board's Regulatory Affairs and Risk Management Division will conduct research of policy and operation issues within the NYS Workers' Compensation Board and nationally. The Student Assistant would be beneficial for IME project.(IME entity) and work on other research related items such as preparing research documents, conducting ad hoc analysis and data gathering. The Student Assistant will compile findings, analyze correlations and trends in found data within a topic of interest, and assist writing of summary reports analyzing participant incentives, motivations, and behavior. At the conclusion of the study, the Student Assistant will draft an explanatory report summarizing the conclusions and data. The Student Assistant is expected to work 10-19 hours a week during the school year and up to 37.5 hours during the summer.
