Description:
Intern will assist in updating the Division of Materials Management's (DMM) Asbestos web page. This will involve creating a web page useful to the public and preparing a guidance document for use by DEC staff to include the identification of solid waste management facilities (SWMF) that are permitted to accept asbestos waste. The intern will also assist in updating the SWMF contact information in DMM's Solid Waste Information Management System database by contacting DEC Regional staff and utilizing facility submitted annual reports.
