Proposal Information

Description:

Under the direction of the IES Governance Lead, the Student Assistant will assist with documenting and responding to federal requirements and inquiries, maintaining project records, doing policy research, and assisting with procurements.

Additional duties include but are not limited to:

* Work directly with and serve as liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams
* Prepare checklists in response to federal reviews
* Develop and edit presentations to state and local stakeholders
* Assist with procurements and purchasing
* Assist with onboarding state and vendor staff as resources join the project
* Assist with the development and tracking of spending as part of the state's federal funding request
* Assist with creation and maintenance of project files in Microsoft Project and ServiceNow
* Assist with reviewing vendor developed deliverables and communicate feedback to approvers
* Special projects as assigned by Governance Lead and project team.

The incumbent will report to the Integrated Eligibility Office at 40 North Pearl Street Albany, NY 12207. The position is on a part time basis, 30 hours per week. The schedule will be Monday-Thursday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Excellent verbal and writing skills

Ms Office/Visio/Project proficiency

Excellent communication skills

NYS/NYC government knowledge preferred.

Knowledge of Health/Hum. Services pgms
