Description:
- Conduct thorough record review of criminal justice and clinical records.
- Input relevant information into a data system to assist the NYSTIP social worker and psychologist with drafting Biopsychosocial assessments and Gender Evaluations as well as synthesizing such information into clinical summaries as needed.
- Assist the NYSTIP social worker and Psychiatrist with needed literature reviews related to Gender care in corrections.
- Possible opportunities for observation of clinical sessions and regular participation in team meetings.
- The NYSTIP team currently serves 30 patients with the goal of serving 50 in the coming months. The intern will support the growth of this team and assist in expanding service provision.
