Description:
The Student Intern assigned to the Workers' Compensation Board's Policy and Program Development Division will conduct research of policy and operation issues within the NYS Workers' Compensation Board and nationally. The intern will compile empirical findings, analyze correlations and trends in found data within a topic of interest, and assist with the design of statistical models to explain and predict outcomes. At the conclusion of the study, the Intern will draft an explanatory report summarizing the applicability and reliability of the model. The Intern is expected to work 10-19 hours a week during the school year and up to 37.5 during the summer.
