Description:
Over the course of the fall the Green Procurement Assistant (GPA) will lead a working group to create a new Executive Order 4 Green Purchasing Specification that State agencies and authorities use to ensure that they are buying more sustainable versions of products that further the Governor's climate and sustainability goals. Tasks will include convening meetings, speaking with internal/external stakeholders, analyzing purchasing data, and writing recommendations for the new specification. At the end of the internship the GPA's work will lead to the creation of new State purchasing policy.
