Proposal Information

Description:

The intern will be working with incarcerated youth, ages 18 to 21, who are enrolled in a high school equivalency educational program. The intern would be working with students who have a history of Special Educational Services prior to their incarceration and students identified as qualifying for Special Educational Services. The assignment would involve completing psychosocial assessments, collaborating and participating in Committee on Special Education Services and working with the school Psychologist. The intern would also assist in counseling activities and services including, but not limited to, one-on-one counseling and possible group counseling work. Internship can be accommodated from 1 to 5 days per week, working 14 to 16 hours per week.
