Description:
The student intern will assist with special projects, research, data entry and data review. They will research and update external training materials using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. The Intern will research Medicaid and other benefits eligibility for people receiving OPWDD services, analyze Medicaid coverage to ensure benefits are maximized and various systems are accurate to ensure reimbursement. Data entry and reviews will include National Vaccine Injury, Medical Indemnity Fund, Medicaid systems and OPWDD's proprietary database. Depending on the interest, knowledge and skills of intern, additional projects will be assigned. Office hours are M-F 8:00am - 4:30pm.
