Description:
BASIC FUNCTION:
Support Treasury Department in business process improvement project for cash investments.
WORK PERFORMED:
Intern will participate in project to map out cash investment process, evaluate and recommend new business process. This will include:
1. Learning and documenting all aspects of current cash investment process including trading, trade capture, settlement with custodian, systems and accounting for cash investments.
2. Identifying opportunities for business process improvements.
3. Evaluating systems and business partners needed to achieve process improvements.
4. Mapping and documenting proposed new process.
5. Preparing business case.
Skills:
MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint
Presentation skills
Basic nderstanding of financial markets
Basic understanding of gov't. securities
