Description:
BASIC FUNCTION:
Provide support to the Department of Small Business Services staff including but not limited to seminars, workshops and Community and Economic Revitalization Support Program (CERSP) funding support.
WORK PERFORMED:
- Assist with vetting individuals and organizations that apply for CERSP funding.
- Review and identify discrepancies of line-items in budgets submitted for CERSP funding.
- Work with the Department of Small Business staff preparing materials for business seminars and conferences.
- Attend meetings of Harlem Community Development Corporation partners including the Frederick Douglass Boulevard Alliance, Bradhurst Merchants Association, and the New Harlem East Merchants Association.
- Perform special projects related to tourism and economic development.
